Rifle Shooting at Wombwell Scout HQ

Right on target with Goldthorpe Scouts

Rifle Shooting at Wombwell - Sunday 31st January 2016

Wombwell Scout Group has a rifle range and two qualified instructors. They have kindly made the offer for Goldthorpe Scouts and Cubs to make use of this. The next sessions are planned for Sunday the 31st January 2016. Sessions are expected to run for about an hour and a quarter. Drop off and collect from Wombwell Scout HQ, Wainwright Place, Wombwell, Barnsley S73 8LY
Ten young people are expected at each session so please put your preferred time and we will do our best to accommodate but please be aware that we expect the volume of attendees to be high so places will be based on a first come first served basis.

The kitchen will also be open and a small tuck shop, so you can bring a small amount of money for this. This is a Scouting activity and therefore full uniform is expected. This activity is also used as part of the master at Arms Activity Badge for Scouts and one of the requirements to the Adventure Challenge Award. This activity can be counted towards the Physical Recreation Activity Badge for Cub Scouts.

The cost is £3.00 per session and this will include a drink and sandwich and the shooting. There is a permission to shoot form to complete and payment is due by Thursday 7th January 2016. Forms will be available from Thursday 26th November 2015 and you can pay any week up until the deadline.
