Aged 18 or over, living in the Dearne Valley: Are you ready to join the adventure with Goldthorpe Scouts?

Since re-opening its doors in December 2013, Goldthorpe Scout Group has successfully established a Beaver Scout Colony and a Cub Scout Pack, offering fun, friendship and adventure for 30 young people aged between 6 and 10 years from across the Dearne Valley.  In less than 12 months time a new Scout Troop will be opened for boys and girls aged between 11 and 14 years.

There a number of opportunities to get involved at this exciting time of growth and development, if you are an adult aged over 18 years, that would enjoy working with young people or you know someone that is, why not check out the link below:

Christingle Service 2015 - we packed the church out

A Christingle Message from Goldthorpe Scout Group As we celebrated our 2nd anniversary of reforming the Scout Group, we held a Christingle service in the local parish church.  Thanks to Father Carl for organising the service and to Breeze and the other leaders who pulled it all together.
